What to expect when you walk through our doors.
Walk-ins are always welcome for ceramic painting, canvas painting, splatter painting, and select clay experiences.
Classes, parties, and special events do require advance booking.
Absolutely. Most of our guests are first-timers. We guide you through everything and make sure you feel comfortable from start to finish. No experience needed.
Most guests spend about 1.5 to 2 hours creating, but you’re never rushed. You’re welcome to stay and enjoy your time during open studio hours.
Yes. We offer projects for little artists, teens, and adults. Some experiences are better suited for certain ages, and our staff is always happy to help you choose the best option.
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. We want your time here to feel relaxed and fun.
We do our best to make Art Escape welcoming for everyone. We have a ramp at the entrance, but our space includes multiple doors and tighter areas that may be challenging for some mobility devices.
If you have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to reach out before your visit so we can talk through the space and help you decide what will work best for you.
Projects & Pick-Up
What happens after you create.
Most ceramic projects are ready for pickup on Thursday of the following week after your visit.
If you are visiting from out of town or working with a tight timeline, a paid fast-fire option may be available for select projects if kiln space allows. Please ask a staff member during your visit and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

We’ll review your expected pickup timing when you’re in the studio. If you ever have questions, you’re welcome to call us before coming by.
We ask that completed projects be picked up within 60 days so we can make room for new creations.
Yes. Just make sure they know the name the project was left under.
We do our best to hold completed projects for the pickup window listed above. Due to limited space, we’re unable to store items indefinitely, and unclaimed projects may eventually need to be cleared.
Before that happens, we will make an effort to contact you using the information on file, even if it means leaving a message.
Most ceramic projects are kiln-fired. Some paint-at-home and acrylic projects are ready to take with you the same day.
Art to Go projects are designed to be created at home. Options include pre-drawn canvases and ceramics, with paints included.
Ceramic Art to Go pieces can be returned to the studio for firing if glaze is used.
Pricing & Policies
How pricing works and what to know before you book.
Pricing is based on the project you choose. All studio time, materials, glazing, and firing are included unless otherwise noted. There are no additional studio fees.
There is no separate studio fee for your initial visit. Pricing is based on the project you choose.
Most projects include one return visit within three months to finish or glaze. Additional return visits may incur a small studio fee.
No minimum purchase is required for walk-in visits.
Minimums apply for private events, birthday parties, and off-site events, and are outlined during booking.
Walk-in projects are paid for at the time of your visit.
Because materials and space are reserved, purchases for classes and events are non-refundable. If something comes up before your scheduled class, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss available options.
If something comes up, please contact us as soon as possible. Rescheduling options depend on the type of class and timing, and we’ll always do our best to help when we can.
If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to get you settled, but your end time may not be extended. Open studio visits are more flexible.
Parties & Groups
What to know when planning a group experience.
Yes. We offer birthday parties for kids, teens, and adults, as well as private events for groups. Party options, pricing, and availability are outlined on our Birthday Parties for Kids and Private Parties pages.
Yes. Private events and birthday parties have minimum guest requirements, which are outlined during booking.
For kids’ birthday parties, parents and guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the space.
For adult private events, all attendees participate in the project being offered as part of the event.
Yes. Outside food and drinks are welcome for kids’ birthday parties and private parties. You’re welcome to bring cake, snacks, or refreshments to enjoy during your celebration.
Because parties reserve space and staff in advance, party bookings are non-refundable.
If something comes up before your scheduled event, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss available options.
Yes. We host group events for schools, teams, businesses, and community groups both in the studio and off-site. Group options and minimums are outlined during booking.
Homeschool & Community
Creative experiences for learning, connection, and community.
While we don’t offer dedicated homeschool programs, homeschool students are welcome to participate in our regular classes and workshops when age guidelines allow. Art Escape is an approved EFA vendor, and eligibility varies by experience.
For experiences funded through EFA, a parent or guardian is asked to stay in the studio for the duration of the visit.
Homeschool families not using EFA may have different options depending on the experience.
Classes and workshops reserve space for registered participants only.

Homeschool experiences at Art Escape are hands-on and creative, with guidance from our staff. The focus is on creating and enjoying the process rather than formal instruction.

We provide aprons, but art can get messy. Wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little creative in is always a good idea.
There’s no set time limit during walk-in hours. Most guests spend about 1.5 to 2 hours creating, and you’re welcome to enjoy your time at a relaxed pace.
You’re welcome to bring younger siblings or guests along. Please note that table space is reserved for participants creating projects.
Yes. Gift cards are available and can be used for walk-in projects, classes, and experiences. They can be purchased online or in the studio.
