MEET THE OWNERS
Having my own art studio has always been a life long dream of mine. As a young child I would draw pictures and hand them out in our neighborhood. While still in high school I attended Boston University of fine arts on the weekends and spent all of my free time in the art department.
I then joined the military as a medic. While attending Air Force technical school I met my husband, Jim. About two weeks after meeting him we were married! I know that was fast, we did go on a date first. We have now been married for 24 years. While in the Air Force I had the opportunity to paint B-52 bomber nose art, and murals in the pediatric wards of the hospitals. I also attended Minot state university for graphic design, took art lessons on the military base and completed a masters in fine arts program.
After finishing my enlistment, I returned home. I taught after school art lessons in public schools for six years before opening Art Escape in 2007. We built Art Escape from the ground up with nothing but a dream and sheer determination. They say if you do something you love you never work a day in your life. Jim now works with me at Art Escape along with one of our sons Justin. My other son Caleb has followed in our footsteps and is enlisted in the Air Force. We are now fortunate enough to be able to offer jobs to others who dream of art and helping people be creative welcoming them to our Art Escape family. Always follow your dreams.
