A Creative Space That Fits Homeschool Life

At Art Escape, homeschool families come to slow down, explore creatively, and spend meaningful time together in a relaxed studio environment. Kids make choices, experiment with materials, and work through ideas at their own pace. Parents are welcome to participate, observe, or create alongside them.

It’s the kind of hands-on experience that naturally supports creativity, focus, and problem-solving, without turning the moment into a lesson or a checklist.

Hands-on art experiences you can confidently use Education Freedom Account (EFA) funds for, without turning creativity into a classroom.

This is not a classroom. It’s a creative experience designed to fit real homeschool life.

Designed for How Homeschool Really Works

Homeschool families come to Art Escape because it fits naturally into how their days already flow.

There’s no rigid schedule to work around, no drop-off requirement, and no pressure to follow a set plan. Families can visit together, take their time choosing projects, and enjoy a creative experience that feels purposeful without feeling formal.

It’s a flexible, hands-on environment that supports creativity, independence, and focus, without turning the experience into a class or lesson. Kids make decisions, work through ideas, and see projects through from start to finish.

Using EFA at Art Escape

Art Escape is an approved vendor for New Hampshire’s Education Freedom Account (EFA) program, and we work directly with EFA families on a regular basis.

Our process is designed to meet EFA requirements while keeping the experience relaxed and family-friendly. Invoices are created in the EFA student’s name and submitted by the parent for direct payment through the EFA program before any projects are started.

This approach protects families from paying out of pocket and ensures everything is handled correctly from the start.

We’ll guide you through what’s needed, answer questions along the way, and let you know when everything is approved and ready.

How Using EFA at Art Escape Works

For Ceramics & Canvas Painting (In-Studio Experiences)
  1. Families visit and browse available ceramics or canvases during walk-in hours and select what they’d like to create.
  2. At checkout, we collect the EFA student’s name and create an invoice in the student’s name, as required by the program. The invoice is emailed to the parent or guardian.
  3. Parents submit the invoice through the EFA program for direct payment.
  4. Chosen items are safely held at the studio while payment is processed.
  5. Families receive confirmation directly from EFA when payment is approved. After that, they’re welcome to return during walk-in hours to enjoy their creative experience.
Want To Take A Class, Sculpt With Clay Or Use The Splatter Room?
  1. Families start by sharing which experience they’d like to use EFA funds for.
  2. We create an invoice in the EFA student’s name and email it to the parent.
  3. Parents submit the invoice to the EFA program for direct payment.
  4. Once payment is confirmed through EFA, families receive notification directly from the program. Class participants will also receive a separate class confirmation email. Walk-in experiences may be enjoyed during regular walk-in hours after payment confirmation.

Good to Know Before You Visit

Do parents need to stay?

Yes. Art Escape experiences are designed for families to attend together. Parents are welcome to stay, create alongside their kids, or relax in the studio. For classes and workshops, all attendees must be registered with a ticket so everyone has space to create.

Is this a class or a lesson?

Art Escape offers hands-on creative experiences designed to feel relaxed and approachable. For walk-in projects, kids choose what they want to create and work at their own pace. For classes and workshops, we provide guided, step-by-step instruction while still keeping the focus on creativity, enjoyment, and the finished experience.

What ages does this work best for?

Homeschool families of all ages visit Art Escape. Walk-in experiences are open to a wide range of ages, with children attending alongside a parent or guardian. For classes or workshops, age ranges are set based on the materials and processes involved so everyone can create safely and comfortably.

How long does approval usually take?

Approval timelines vary through the EFA program. In most cases, payment confirmation happens within a few business days. Once payment is confirmed, we’ll reach out so you can plan your visit or experience.

Can siblings use EFA together?

Yes, siblings are welcome to visit together. Each EFA student requires their own invoice, but families can coordinate visits once approvals are in place.
